Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress, is known for playing the lead in many television series as well as her impressive performances in films. Her work is a hit on Canadian and American television. Emily started acting when she was 12 after visiting her older sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. When she realized that acting was her passion, Emily began taking acting classes and auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials, and then was selected for the Canadian children's horror television series Are You Are You Afraid of the Dark? It was the only scene where she was unable to speak. At the age of 15years old, Emily had her biggest breakthrough after she was made an official character on the WB television show Glory Days. Emily's talents caught Greg Berlanti's attention when the series was cancelled after just nine episodes. He cast Emily as a character on Everwood the new television show. Emily was a professional ballet dancer who began to take up photography as well. Teen listed her as the top young actress. She was ranked the 51st in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
